LEARN's magnet programs have three major goals:

Provide distinct choices for students with different interests, talents and aptitudes; Teach using innovative instructional practices;
Promote diversity within schools so that students are prepared to live in a multicultural society and a global community.


Magnet School Application Process

Each magnet school has its own individualized application process for interested students and their families. In addition to the information below, details on each school's admissions process may be found on the school's website or by calling the school directly.

pre-kindergarten residing in all Connecticut towns.

 Marine Science Magnet High School
Applications accepted for students entering
grades 9 and 10 residing in all Connecticut towns.
MSMHS Applications for the 2024-2025 School Year Now Closed.

Regional Multicultural Magnet School 
Applications accepted for students entering
grades K - 5 residing in all Connecticut towns.
RMMS Late Applications for the 2024-2025 School Year Now Being Accepted.


Three Rivers Middle College Magnet High School
