LEARN's New Education Consultant
Introducing the Newest Member of the Office of Teaching & Learning.
Lisanne Kaplan is the newest member of LEARN’s Office of Teaching & Learning. She joins LEARN, as a Multi-Language Education Consultant.
Ms. Kaplan’s most recent experience was with Hartford Public Schools where she supported and implemented effective strategies, practices, and services for multilingual learners. Prior to working in Hartford, Ms. Kaplan was the Multilingual Learner Program District Coordinator in Montville.
Lisanne holds a Master of Education, Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from Fairfield University and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Mount Holyoke College. She passed her Master’s comprehensive exam “with distinction” with her professional development project selected as exemplar of student work for Fairfield University’s NCATE accreditation review.
Lisanne is already hard at work here at LEARN, impacting students’ access to high-quality education and opportunities. We are happy to have her as a part of our LEARN family.
